Overnight Forecast
A Flash Flood Watch has been extended and is now in effect for the entire area until NOON Thursday. This evening we will continue to see rainfall on and off. At times it will be light or stop, and at other times it will be heavy. So far we have already seen over a foot of rainfall in some spots in Washington County with 11-16″ near Huntsville and an additional 1-4″ overnight is possible.

More Heavy Rain Coming
Overnight we’ll see more rain as another storm pushes from the west across the area. This where the 1-4″ will come from and will arrive between 1am and 4am. Then we’ll clear out for the rest of the day.
This will exacerbate areas to the north and west of Houston where very heavy rain has fallen the past two days.
The Flash Flood Watch includes those areas, but everyone could see some strong downpours along with gusty winds and small hail.
Models are suggesting some areas could see anywhere from 1 to 3 inches of rain from this next event.
