Scattered storms moving out of Houston

After this evening’s rain, the weekend looks fabulous!

This evening’s forecast:

Coastal showers and east side showers continue, but the rain is finally leaving our area after dropping 1-2″ earlier tonight. That can cause ponding on roads, so slow down and be mindful of those feeder roads especially!

Weekend Forecast:

Saturday and Sunday will be dry with highs in the lower-60s. Saturday will have a mix of sunshine and clouds with strong winds, but Sunday will be mostly sunny and calmer! Spectacular!

River Flooding Forecast:

We’re continuing to monitor river levels downstream from areas that were inundated by intense rain leading to flooding on many of our area rivers. Below are the current river levels and we’ll likely see some downstream spots rise into moderate or even major flood status.
