Thursday will be a gorgeous day in SE Texas! Temperatures will top out in the mid-70s under partly cloudy skies and light winds. It will feel great!

Next storm system arrives late Friday night:

As early as 11:00 pm Friday storms will start moving in. Overnight heavy rain will fall with a severe weather threat. West of Houston hail is the most likely severe weather but damaging winds and a tornado forming is also possible.

Saturday flood threat moves east:

Rain from the pacific front will move east from the morning to the afternoon. As we move throughout the day the flood threat also moves east. At the end of the day rain totals should range from 1″-3″. A strong northwest wind will be with us through Sunday.

10-Day forecast:

Heavy rain expected Saturday morning with gusty winds Sunday. Cooler and dry weather will be with us to start next week. Our cold front on Saturday is from the Pacific, which aren’t as cold as northern fronts. The drop in temperatures next week is slight.
