Tonight’s forecast:
We’ll see clear skies for most of the evening and overnight hours, expect to see more clouds by the afternoon but still very pleasant with highs in the low to mid 70s.
Breezy Wednesday, small chance of rain starting Thursday:
Wednesday stays dry with warming temperatures back into the 70s. Thursday will be the first day that we’ll see minor rain chances moving in with some streamer showers in from the coast both Thursday and Friday.
Another rainy weekend:
Thursday’s front stalls over southeast. When this occurs it give the opportunity to get rain every day. The key are disturbances, small areas of low pressure, that need to move along the front. When they do this they bring rain. If there are no disturbances there is no rain.
There is a 20% chance of rain both Thursday and Friday with higher rain chances this weekend. It looks like two distinct low pressure disturbances move through Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
10-Day forecast:
Temperatures slowly warm this week. Because the front doesn’t completely clear Houston, we’ll be in the 70s through Sunday, but be ready for a soggy Super Bowl party!
