Temperatures soar above average Monday across Texas.

The southerly winds and above average temperatures continue through Tuesday just in time for the start of Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Tuesday stays above average with the help of a breezy south wind.
Midweek Cold Front:

We go from spring back to winter behind a cold front Wednesday. Highs will likely reach the 70s but drop throughout the day.

Wednesday a cold front will bring in a small chance for showers but a major cool down.
10-Day Forecast:

Our normal high this time of year is in the upper-60s and we are well above that for the next few days. We’ll start off this week very warm in the mid-80s for Rodeo’s first night. A cold front Wednesday will lower temperatures and humidity for the end of the week.

Midweek cold front puts a halt on 80 degree days.
