We’ve seen warm temperatures this week with record highs on both Monday and Tuesday but big changes are coming! We’re tracking a cold front that will bring a delightful weekend! Here’s what to expect.
Tonight’s Forecast:
Tonight we will likely see more dense fog alerts for areas south of I-10. We will have cloudy skies with lows in the mid-60s.
Thursday’s Forecast:
Thursday afternoon we will have highs in the upper-70s with cloudy skies. A few sprinkles are possible in the afternoon with light showers possible in the evening.
Cold front Friday:
We have a small chance of light rain Thursday evening. Friday afternoon a cold front moves through, bringing the potential for strong thunderstorms.
We have a low severe weather threat, with the potential of getting a tornado, hail and damaging winds north of Houston. This front will lower the temperatures this weekend.
Weekend Forecast:
After our cold front on Friday we will enjoy a fantastic feeling weekend! Humidity will be low, sunshine will be in abundance and temperatures will be comfortable. High temperatures are in the 60s both Saturday and Sunday with a chilly feel in the morning.
Don’t forget we “Spring Forward” at 2AM on Sunday morning. We lose an hour of sleep with Saturday’s sunrise at 6:38 with sunset at 6:26. Our new sunrise and sunset are near 7:30.

We have two Friday fronts on our 10 day forecast! Our first Friday cold front will bring our great weekend. Next week temperatures will rebound to the lower-80s before we track our next cold front on Friday March 15th. Our cold fronts will lower humidity and bring cool, crisp conditions!
