We’ve seen warm temperatures this week with record highs on both Monday and Tuesday but big changes are coming! We’re tracking a cold front that will bring a delightful weekend! Here’s what to expect.
Your Forecast:
Cloudy overall with some light rain chances overnight into Friday morning. The cold front is expected to move through mainly in the morning hours bringing a chance of some spotty strong thunderstorms.
Cold front Friday:
Friday morning through early Friday afternoon a cold front will bring rain and the possibility of some strong storms. The greatest threat for hail and damaging winds is north of Houston. The highest chance for more widespread severe weather chances is generally north and well east of SE Texas. We could see a strong storm or two through mid-morning so keep a heads up!
Weekend Forecast:
After our cold front on Friday we will enjoy a fantastic feeling weekend! Humidity will be low, sunshine will be in abundance and temperatures will be comfortable. High temperatures are in the 60s both Saturday and Sunday with a chilly feel in the morning.
Don’t forget we “Spring Forward” at 2AM on Sunday morning. We lose an hour of sleep with Saturday’s sunrise at 6:38 with sunset at 6:26. Our new sunrise and sunset are near 7:30.
10-Day Forecast:
Our first Friday cold front will bring our great weekend. Next week temperatures warm to the lower-80s before our next cold front moves in Friday March 15th. Our cold fronts will lower humidity and bring cool, crisp mornings.
