Today’s Forecast:

Get ready to drive through inconvenient rain this morning. Widespread showers are falling north of I-10 with more rain falling through the late morning hours. South of I-10 the rain is isolated. The front moves through around noon and the storms move out. The rest of the day we’ll have slowly clearing skies with warm temperatures in the 80s. There are changes to the severe weather threat. The threat no longer includes the Houston area. Severe weather is possible for our northeastern cities this morning into the early afternoon.

Weekend Forecast:

After our cold front on Friday we will enjoy a fantastic feeling weekend! Heads up for Saturday. It will be windy. There may be a wind advisory issued because of strong north winds 15-25 mph and gusts up to 30 mph. High temperatures are in the 60s both Saturday and Sunday with a chilly feel in the morning.

Don’t forget we “Spring Forward” at 2AM on Sunday morning. We lose an hour of sleep with Saturday’s sunrise at 6:37 with sunset at 6:26. Our new sunrise and sunset are 7:36 am and 7:27 pm.

10-Day Forecast:

Our first Friday cold front will bring our great weekend. Next week temperatures warm to the lower-80s before our next cold front moves in Friday March 15th. Our cold fronts will lower humidity and bring cool, crisp mornings.
