Rain and storms arrive overnight and continue to march east Sunday morning.

Before sunrise, rain and storms push into SE Texas.

Sunday afternoon and evening, most areas see a decrease in rain. However, we can’t rule out scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly south of I-10.

Sunday’s severe weather threat is low; it is 1 out of 5 for Sunday, so we aren’t expecting widespread storms with hail or damaging wind.

Monday’s forecast:

Early week is rain free with cooler temperatures and lower humidity making for a refreshing start to spring. Monday is breezy with winds gusting out of the northeast at 25 mph.

Rain free Monday and Tuesday.
10-day forecast:

After Sunday’s rain, expect temperatures and humidity to decrease early week. Highs were only in the 60s on Tuesday, with a morning temperature in the 40s. We have another chance of rain on Wednesday and Thursday.
