We’re watching a big upper-level storm that will move into Texas Thursday. Here is what’s new.
Tracking another round of storms Thursday morning during the morning commute into the afternoon, break in the rain, followed by the possibility of more rain overnight into Friday. Both of these rounds can bring flooding and severe weather.
The severe threats are large hail and damaging winds. (Similar to last week.) On average most of us get 1″-2″ of rain but 3″-4″ is possible.

Most of us get 1″-2″ of rain with isolated higher amounts possible. The street flood threat for all of southeast Texas is low. If storms “train” flooding can occur and if that happens we’ll let you know through our flood tracker app.
