Tonight’s forecast:
We’re clearing out late Friday night and should be looking at a quiet kick off to the weekend. Saturday morning will start off in the mid to low 50s.
Saturday:
Saturday will be wonderful! We have a light, dry, north wind with lots of sunshine and a high near 80°. it’s the start of the Bayou City Art Festival.
Sunday:
Sunday turns breezy with strong south winds 10-20 mph and gusts up to 30 mph. The winds come from the pressure gradient getting squeezed between high pressure to the east and low pressure to the west. This low with a cold front moves in Monday.
Next round of storms expected Monday:
Late Monday afternoon and night is when our next storm system moves through. The flood threat and severe weather threat is east of Houston. As of Friday morning it’s our northeastern cities that have a low threat for possibly street flooding and more hail. We’ll keep you posted on how weather pattern evolves.
10-day forecast:
After Monday we get seasonable temperatures with a slight warm up at the end of the week.
