Houston’s summertime temperatures stick around through Memorial Day.

Monday we will likely hit the low 90s again, add in the humidity and it will feel even warmer. By, late week it could feel like 100 degrees.

Houston will feel like almost 100 degrees late week.

And with the most recent power outages - it’s important to stay cool.

-Make sure to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

-Spend part of your day in places with AC - like the mall, the movie theater or even the library.

- Shut off the heat to rooms that face the sun by closing the blinds and the door.

- Cool off by putting your towels, blankets, and washcloths in ice.
