Tonight’s forecast:
Tonight will be another warm and humid evening. Temperatures will be in the 80s for most of the evening.
Wednesday’s Forecast:
Wednesday will be another sizzling hot day with temperatures climbing to the lower-90s.
We’ll be tracking severe storms tonight and tomorrow for parts of our state. Tomorrow is the day that our far northern cities have a chance to get hit by strong storms. I don’t think the storms make it to Houston.
Heat warnings this holiday weekend:
Temperatures climb to the mid-90s this weekend with the hottest day of the year expected Memorial Day Monday. And the humidity also continues to go up. Monday’s heat index will range from 108°-110° Heat warnings go into effect when the heat index goes above 108° and that’s where we’ll be this weekend. Be safe, the first heat wave of the season is the most dangerous because our bodies aren’t used to this kind of heat just yet.
10-Day Forecast:
Temperatures climb to 96° Monday. There is relief in the forecast. A storm system will lower temperatures to the mid-80s Wednesday and Thursday next week. That feels like a long way off!
