HOUSTON – A few storms have developed across Southeast Texas. Most of the area continues to stay dry, but a few areas are seeing some storms.
At 4:50 p.m., a couple of storms were located in Harris and Fort Bend Counties. The strongest storm was located over I-10, in between Beltway 8 and Loop 610. This storm is producing a lot of lightning, heavy rain, and gusty winds.
Just after 5 p.m., a Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for the storm. The warning covers the northern part of Harris County and southern Montgomery County. Threats include Ping pong ball sized hail and 60 mph winds. The warning has since expired.
