Sunday morning showers and thunderstorms begin to move into SE Texas. Late Sunday morning showers and storms will continue to be scattered.
Afternoon staying wet mainly south of I-10 but showers extending north of I-10 at times.
Sunday evening expect some breaks in the clouds as showers exit to the east.
Tracking the tropics:
After a quiet second half of July, the tropics my wake up at the end of next week. There is a 40% chance of development with a tropical wave in the Atlantic over the next 7 days. The wave enters a zone with less Saharan Dust and little wind shear, giving the wave a chance to develop. If it becomes a tropical storm it would become Debby.
It has a 10% chance to become a hurricane near Florida August 5th with tropical storm develop being more likely.

Early week expect a few afternoon and evening showers, otherwise the week is dry and temperatures return to the 90s.
