Current Radar:
HOUSTON – Nice to see the radar all quiet after a very soggy week last week and into this past weekend. We’re expecting it to stay relatively quiet over the next few days as high pressure slides in from Florida. The radar could see some showers between now and Tuesday afternoon, but the chances are slim.

Tonight’s Forecast:
Tonight we will not see our temperatures drop quick. Forecast lows will only be in the upper-70s and lower-80s.
Tuesday’s Forecast:
Tuesday will be similar to Monday. There is a 20% chance for an isolated shower but otherwise it’s hot! Forecast high temperatures are in the 90s with feels like temperatures in the 100s.
Tracking the tropics:
There is a 50% chance of development with a tropical wave in the Atlantic over the next 7 days. The wave enters a zone with less Saharan Dust and little wind shear, giving the wave a chance to develop. If it becomes a tropical storm it would become Debby. Thankfully some big domes of high pressure will keep this system away from Texas as they’ll push the storm closer to the coast of Florida.
10-day Forecast:
Saharan Dust will make for some hazy days starting Tuesday afternoon. The haze will also help limit shower activity this week. Temperatures will remain in the low and mid 90s this week.
