Thursday’s Forecast:

HOUSTON – The excessive heat warning has been allowed to expire. Thursday a heat advisory goes into effect, lasting through 10pm. The heat index that has been above 113° the past three days. It will lower slightly ranging from 106° to a 112° tomorrow afternoon. Temperatures also lower by a degree or two with an expected high of 100°. We have been reaching 102° both Wednesday and Tuesday. There is a 20% chance for showers and storms during the afternoon.

Weekend Forecast:

By the time we get to the weekend our high pressure system weakens, temperatures lower some more and we have a small chance of storms. Friday our heat indices lower to 100°-105° and out of the heat advisory range.
