LIVE RADAR: Flood watch issued in coastal areas of Southeast Texas

HOUSTON – We are tracking scattered showers and storms across Southeast Texas.

We had a Flood Watch issued for all of our coastal counties through Friday morning. Most of the showers/storms will hang along the coast again today, with more widespread storms moving inland for most of Thursday. The front arrives late Friday night and clears out for a perfect fall weekend!

The flood threat moves back over Houston tomorrow. We’ll be tracking waves of heavy rain from the coast to Houston for the next two days. In fact, more rain with the potential for flooding. Heavy rain is also expected on Thursday, particularly in our coastal cities.
