No threat to land, Tropical Storm Gordon forms in the Atlantic
This storm will dissipate in the Atlantic
HOUSTON – Tropical Storm Gordon formed this morning in the far eastern Atlantic. This system poses no threat to land as it moves west.
At it’s closest approach it will be about 3,000 miles from Houston.
This is the 7th named storm in the Atlantic basin this year. The next named storm will be Helene.
Tropical season ends on Nov. 30.
