Summer Remains In Charge This Week:

A hot dome of high pressure continues to dominate our weather pattern for most of this week and into the coming weekend. Part of the culprit is a large mid-level high pressure ridge that is centered across Mexico, largely influencing our weather pattern.

Tracking the Tropics:

The benefit of our high pressure system is it would block us from any tropical systems that would form. Thankfully there is no tropical threat for the Gulf Coast over the next week. As a reminder we are still in the peak of hurricane season.

The peak tropical season is September 10th. (Copyright 2024 by KPRC Click2Houston - All rights reserved.)
10-day Forecast:

We stay dry. Highs will be in the 90s, but morning lows will be comfortable in the mid-70s! The start of fall is Sunday but it will still feel like summer here in SE Texas.
