HOUSTON – We’re seeing the Stormtracker 2 Live Radar getting some additional action after seeing some rain on Wednesday, meaning we’re no longer in the top 10 driest Octobers on record.
KPRC 2 FLOOD TRACKER: Get alerted if flooding is occurring in your immediate area
The radar shows storms moving into the Angleton and Lake Jackson areas, while scattered smaller storms are moving towards Houston’s southside.
By midday Thursday, the front should be approaching the immediate Houston area, accompanied by a broken line of showers and thunderstorms. We could see some very heavy rainfall in some of these storms.
The severe threat looks to be very low right now, but there is an outside chance of some gusty winds and some lightning.
