There will be enough energy to spark strong to severe thunderstorms across SE Texas. The main impacts will be gusty winds and heavy downpours. The greatest chance for severe storms will be mainly north of Houston, where the threat level is 2/5.

We’re also tracking two cold fronts this week, with the first one expected Monday night and lasting through Tuesday. The second front will move through on Thursday. That cold front looks to be the big one, dramatically dropping temperatures. Highs will be in the 70s, and lows in the 50s.
