Sunday’s forecast:

HOUSTON – We are near record highs Sunday. The record is 84° from 1910 and I have a forecast of 82. We could possibly break a record Monday too. Both of these days will be dry. The Texans play at noon Sunday and the tailgating forecast looks good. Temperatures are in the 70s as you walk into NRG.

Thanksgiving:

A strong cold front is set to arrive on Thanksgiving Day. The timing is early afternoon and it will bring a significant drop in temperatures for Black Friday and the weekend. Moisture appears limited, so for now, I’m forecasting a 30% chance of rain.

Black Friday:

The chill returns Friday, so early shoppers, take note! Temperatures will dip into the upper 40s to lower 50s.

10-day Forecast:

The forecast brings little rain and just three days with highs reaching the 80s. At last, we’re turning the corner toward much cooler temperatures ahead.

What to expect through Tuesday of next week
