There will be a brief cooldown along a cold front Monday night through Tuesday. The front could squeak out a stray shower, but otherwise, most of SE Texas stays dry.

Thanksgiving:

A strong cold front is set to arrive on Thanksgiving Day. The timing is early afternoon and it will bring a significant drop in temperatures for Black Friday and the weekend. Moisture appears limited, so for now, I’m forecasting a 20% chance of rain.

The forecast brings little rain and just three days with highs reaching the 80s. At last, we’re turning the corner toward much cooler temperatures ahead.
