HOUSTON – Get ready for a wet week as rain and storms ramp up across southeast Texas. A coastal low combined with a warm front is expected to bring widespread rain today, with heavier downpours possible in the afternoon and evening.
Rain chances increase throughout Wednesday, beginning with light sprinkles in the early morning and becoming heavier around 9 a.m. into the afternoon. The Gulf’s tropical moisture will make conditions warm, breezy, and humid, with periods of heavy rain possible.
While most of the activity will be showers, isolated thunderstorms are expected, and some could be strong.
