Heavy overnight rain making for a messy Friday morning commute in Houston as rain pushes out

We dry out for the rest of the weekend!

Friday’s Forecast:

HOUSTON – Some of the heavy rain from Thursday night’s rain left a lot of wet roads this morning. As a result, some roads are still wet, but thankfully temperatures will be in the upper 30s so no frozen roads are expected.

Friday afternoon, on the other hand, will be mostly cloudy and dry with temperatures staying in the 40s. We may see a peek of sun through the clouds late afternoon but it won’t help to warm us up at all.

Saturday’s Forecast:

Our sunshine will finally return on Saturday, which will make for a very chilly start in the low 30s, but we’ll rebound nicely back into the low 50s with sunshine dominating the rest of the day.
