Heavy snowfall fell across SE Texas on Tuesday morning bringing 2-6″ across SE Texas.

We have been seeing the snow and ice thaw through the day today! Although this is still cold in the 40s, it is warm enough that we will see the snow and ice melting. By the late afternoon roads should be significantly better.

Tonight’s Forecast:

Temperatures will once again cool down quick tonight. Thursday morning we will see our final freeze of this cold blast. Thankfully we will have been dry for nearly 48 hours. Most of the snow should have melted by Wednesday afternoon so roads will be in way better shape for the return to work and school Thursday morning.

Thursday’s Forecast:

Thursday we will see plenty of sunshine which will help our temperatures climb quick! We will get above freezing by 10AM with forecast highs in the lower-50s. It will feel spectacular in the afternoon.

This weekend we will continue to warm up! Temperatures will reach the 60s Saturday and Sunday ahead of a cold front Sunday afternoon.

10 Day Forecast:

Friday afternoon we will see temperatures climb into the mid-50s and then we will stay above freezing for the remainder of our 10 day forecast!

This weekend we’ll even see highs climb into the 60s before a front Sunday evening. This front will bring rain chances and high temperatures in the 50s for next week.
