Thursday’s Fire Conditions:
HOUSTON – There is also a red flag/fire weather warning issued by the National Weather Service until to 7 p.m. Strong north winds and low humidity will be a hinderance for fire fighters that are battling the Pauline Road Fire in San Jacinto and Montgomery counties.

Friday’s Forecast:
Friday morning, still grab the long-sleeved shirt or light jacket, as temperatures will start in the upper 40s to low 50s.

Warming up as we head into the afternoon, as winds become more southeasterly. Temperatures are at average Friday.

Weather conditions remain dry and breezy, so avoid handling fire because any spark can spread quickly. SE Texas weather will make the fire danger risk high on Friday.

Weekend’s Forecast:
On Saturday and Sunday, temperatures are above average, reaching the 80s. The big difference between the two days is the chance of rain.

A cold front moves into SE Texas on Sunday, triggering the chance for showers and strong to severe storms. The rainy weather will continue into Monday.

10-day forecast:
Temperatures will range from the upper 70s to the low 80s over the next 10 days. Rain is possible on Thursday, the Astros' opening day.
