HOUSTON – It’s hard to believe that the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is coming to an end on Sunday.

The good news is that the weather will be nice to Houston as we round out the weekend.

For the rest of your Friday, temperatures will only top off in the mid-70s—right on par with where we should be for this time of year. There will be plenty of sunshine overhead with little to no cloud cover. Humidity will also be low, making it feel very comfortable as you walk from ride to ride.

A light jacket might be necessary before you head out the door for the concert. As Parker McCollum takes the stage Friday evening, it might feel a bit cooler outside as the evening goes on. By the time the concert is done, temperatures will have fallen to the lower 60s as our winds calm down and our skies remain clear.

Saturday you’ll notice a change.

Fog develops in the early morning hours as more moisture is brought in with continued southerly flow. Temperatures spike up near the mid-80s and the humidity rises with it, making it feel a bit muggier outside. Cloud cover increases as well, helping to provide some shade during the day.

Thankfully, most of Sunday will go by without any issues, but it will be warm and muggy ahead of our next cold front. Temperatures rise further into the mid-to-upper 80s. Keep tuning in as we have the chance for strong storms heading into Sunday evening and overnight Monday - especially for our friends up to our north and northeast.
