Storms moving 40 mph will keep roads slick for the drive this morning

A fast-moving cluster of storms is moving out of the region Monday morning.

Our radar shows the strong storms moving at 40 mph, bringing heavy downpours, lightning, and even some small hail.

The whole cluster will be east and offshore by 4 a.m. but roads will remain very wet and slick for the early morning commute.For that reason. drivers are encouraged to take their time on the roads.

After the storms have passed, temperatures will still be mild waking up Monday morning.
