Rain has moved out of Houston, here’s what to expect this weekend

Weekend Forecast:

HOUSTON – There may be a left over morning shower along the coast otherwise it’s a beautiful start to the weekend. It will be warm and humid with temperatures climbing to the mid-80s. Sunday looks good but we’re tracking a front that could affect the northeastern part of our viewing area like the Piney Woods. There is a low threat that a strong line of storms could hit Houston late Sunday night into early Monday morning. Most of Sunday looks great for the Bayou City Art Festival.

The severe risk in Houston is a level 1 out of 5 and portions of Madison, San Jacinto, Walker, and all of Polk , Trinity, and Houston County in a level 2 out of 5 risk for severe weather. All modes of severe weather are possible.

10 Day Forecast:

We should get back to a relatively quiet pattern next week with highs in the low to mid 80s and a mix of clouds, sun and humidity. There are couple of small chances of rain next week.
