Tonight’s Forecast:
HOUSTON – We’re still looking at temperatures that are running nearly 10-15 degrees above what we should see this time of year with overnight lows only dropping into the upper-60s. Patchy dense fog is expected from 11PM-8AM.
Weekend Forecast:
Saturday and Sunday will be more warm and humid days. The coast will likely see dense sea fog for most of the morning, if not part of the afternoon. Forecast highs will be in the lower-80s.
Cold Front Sunday Night:
A front moves through Southeast Texas late Sunday night. It will bring a chance for showers early Monday morning but more importantly, it brings a HUGE temperature drop.
Highs fall from the lower-80s this weekend to the 50s as we start next week. It’s about time!
Morning lows drop into the 30s Tuesday and Wednesday, and I wouldn’t be surprised if a few spots see a light freeze.
Your Extended Forecast:
Our cool down will be pretty short lived. We’re back in the 70s as we start 2026. At least it won’t be in the 80s!
