Ground delays issued at Bush Airport due to thunderstorms

HOUSTON – The George Bush Intercontinental Airport is experiencing flight delays due to thunderstorms move across the area Tuesday afternoon, according to the FAA.

A ground stop was issued earlier but was lifted by 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Departures to Bush Airport are delayed by an average of 127 minutes until 9 p.m. due to thunderstorms.
