Ahmed Humble

Digital Content Producer

Born and raised in Houston, Texas. Ahmed graduated from Aldine ISD and always had a passion for writing. Right before graduating from the University of Houston, he took a class on Houston's history and learned of a gap regarding African American Muslims and their contributions to establishing the city's most historic mosque. After intense research during graduate school at the University of Texas at San Antonio, Ahmed earned his master's in history and had his work published in the Journal of South Texas' Fall 2019 issue. While in San Antonio, he also interned at a news station and learned how to be a better storyteller. It wouldn't be long until he was able to return home and help cover stories impacting Houston. He's written stories about COVID-19, the Astroworld Tragedy, mass shootings, but feels more at home covering profile pieces, explainers, entertainment and films & television shows.
