Ground stop at Hobby Airport (HOU) for thunderstorms lifted

A ground stop was issued Wednesday at Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) due to thunderstorms in the area.

The stoppage was issued at 12:49 p.m. Wednesday and was scheduled to last until 2 p.m., according to the FAA website. The stoppage has now been extended until 3:30 p.m.

At 3:30 p.m., it was lifted.
