Dynamo players, coaches shave heads for Bald is Beautiful cancer awareness event

HOUSTON – Houston Dynamo players and coaches shaved their heads Tuesday to raise awareness for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

The Bald is Beautiful event was held at Houston Sports Park with Dynamo players and coaches having their heads shaved by local children battling cancer.

The event kicked off the Dynamo's annual Kick Childhood Cancer game Wednesday night at BBVA Compass Stadium. The night will honor kids who are currently battling cancer during different ceremonies throughout the game.

Fans at the game can get their heads shaved by Great Clips outside Section 103. A $10 donation will benefit the Austen Everett Foundation and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
