HOUSTON – The holidays are nearly here, and beyond the shopping and the events and the decorating, there is time to do what you’ve been looking forward to all year: sitting on the couch and watching a marathon of romantic holiday movies.
There’s so much to love. Just this year, 34 movies were released by Hallmark Channel.

But if you’re new to this genre, here’s a favorite movie list from KPRC 2 senior executive producer Robin Freese, who definitely knows the difference between “A December Bride” and “A Bride for Christmas.”
1. "A December Bride"
A holiday wedding brings no joy to the bride's cousin, who was literally left by the groom right at the altar. Instead of going alone, Layla snags a date with Seth, and ends up with a fake fiance in the process.
