HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Two people were arrested Friday morning in an FBI raid in Spring Branch.
The FBI, the IRS and the Commerce Department descended on a Spring Branch business as part of a raid at Smart Power on Stebbins Drive.
Three people were federally indicted for illegally exporting technology to Iran, and two of them were arrested in Spring Branch. FBI agents served a search warrant and could be seen walking in and out of the business Friday morning.
Another man connected to the case was arrested in Los Angeles. Employees said they showed up at work Friday to find the building wrapped in tape. They said FBI agents told them that the business was closed and that they should come back Monday.
