HOUSTION – Two thieves robbed an armored truck at a grocery store in east Houston Wednesday.
Police were called at around 11 a.m. to the Sol Supermarket in the 7200 block of Lyons Avenue.
According to investigators, two men approached a Brink's armored guard as he was making a delivery to Money Gram machine inside the store.

The two suspects fled with an unknown amount of cash and the bag the guard was carrying.
They got away in a dark-colored Sports Utility Vehicle that was believed to be occupied by a getaway driver.
Police said no one was injured.
Crime Stoppers is offering an up to $5,000 reward for information leading to the identity and arrest of those involved.
