HOUSTON – A drive-by shooting in a southeast Houston apartment complex parking lot left one man dead Monday, police said.
Roberto Martinez, 19, was found shot in the parking lot at 6723 South Loop East at 9:45 p.m. Sunday, investigators said. The victim died on the way to Ben Taub Hospital.

Police said Martinez was visiting a friend in the complex parking lot when someone fired a shot from inside a tan 2000 to 2002 four-door Ford sport utility vehicle. Martinez was hit in the chest.
Police said they have no motive or suspects in the case.
