Jesus is still at large, but his brother, Saul, was already in prison serving a sentence for an unrelated matter.

Investigators said the brothers and two other suspects forced their way into an apartment in the 2400 block of Bammelwood back in April of 1998.

Three people were inside the apartment and a shootout ensued.

One of the suspects, Christopher Ibarra, and a resident, Ali Scott, were shot and later died.

The fourth suspect, Austin Moore, was charged in 2007 and was out on bond awaiting trial.

In July, the HCSO's Cold Case Unit reexamined the case and developed new information that lead them to the suspects.

This is the 10th case solved by the unit.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Jesus Serna is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
