FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Several students were injured when the school bus they were in rear-ended another vehicle.
Fort Bend Independent School District officials said the wreck happened on F.M. 1092 near Cartwright Road about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday.
The students on the bus attend Elkins High School, officials said.
Ten students and the bus driver were transported to hospitals. The other 29 students on the bus were assessed at the scene and released. School district officials said none of the injuries was serious.
The people inside the car were also hurt. Their conditions have not been released.
The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
