PEARLAND, Texas – Investigators are trying to find the person responsible for vandalizing the football field at the Rig in Pearland.
The vandals dug up the logo in the center of the Pearland High School field on South Main.

Police said it happened sometime Monday night or early Tuesday morning.
The damage was discovered around 5 a.m. Tuesday by a coach who arrived at the school early.
Parents of students of the school said they are outraged someone would go through so much trouble to vandalize the field.
There is no word yet on how much it will cost to repair the damage, but it's expected to be thousands of dollars.
