SOUTHEAST HOUSTON – Houston police released composite sketches Friday of two men who pretended to be police officers during a home invasion in southeast Houston.
According to police, three suspects wearing police-type raid gear, entered a home in the 6500 block of Richwood about 8 p.m. on Dec. 9. They told the residents they were serving a search warrant.
Once inside the home, the suspects held the residents at gunpoint, threatened them and demanded money. One family member was beaten and suffered broken bones in the face. A woman inside the home also suffered minor wounds to her arm.
Two suspects are only described as black males. The first suspect is in his 20s, about 6 feet 2 inches tall and has a heavy build. The second suspect is in his late 20s, about 5 feet 4 inches tall and has a skinny build.
The suspects took off in a newer model gold or bronze GMC Yukon.
A third suspect was described only as a Hispanic male. No composite sketch of the third suspect was available.
