HOUSTON – What would you do for a 40-inch television that only cost a dollar?
People lined up Wednesday morning outside the 99 Cents Only's newest store off the North Freeway and Greens Road hoping to get one of the TVs.
It was all part of the retail chains grand opening for its newest Houston store. The promotion started at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
The company said the first nine customers in line could purchase a Westinghouse 40-inch flat screen TVs for $0.99.
The company said the next 99 customers could purchase a scooter for $0.99, and anyone in line by 7:45 a.m. could enter to win a 10th flat-screen television.
