High winds cause extensive damage in Wharton County
WHARTON COUNTY, Texas – The severe storms that blew through our area caused some serious damage in Wharton County.
The high winds and heavy rain knocked over trees, and destroyed a shed at one residence. Just across the street, another tree snapped and fell right onto a home. We are told there is extensive damage.
The storm blew debris from trees and houses across yards. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries.
