Paramedics preformed CPR and used electric shock to regain her pulse.

Now that she's recovered, Francies and her family are thanking the people who kept her alive.

"I spent the first five days in ICU, as the different staff members came through, everybody said you really need to thank the guys who worked on her and brought her here," Peggy's daughter, Valerie Francies said.

"It was because of their efforts of what they did to save her life that we were able to continue to do what we did for her."

Francies told Local 2 that she doesn't remember what happened but she's thankful for the HFD and the paramedics who helped save her life.
