CRYSTAL BEACH, Texas – Galveston County sheriff's deputies responded to a call of a woman who was pinned between her car door and an ATM.

Officials say the cause of the incident was that the woman attempted to make a transaction by leaning out of the driver's side door. That's when the car went forward, pulled left and struck the building where the ATM was located.
Emergency responders were able to pull the front of the vehicle away from the building. The woman, identified as Nancy Harris, was taken to the University of Texas Medical Branch via LifeFlight.
The Galveston County Sheriff's Office says Harris, 45, died of her injuries this week.
Police say foul play is not suspected.
