Former Houston athlete Zina Garrison joins 'Biggest Loser' to get in shape

HOUSTON – A Houston tennis athlete who played at Wimbledon is stepping onto 'The Biggest Loser' scale Thursday evening.

Zina Garrison is one of 20 former athletes trying to get in shape on the reality television show. The 50-year-old now weighs 263 lbs. The show's winner gets $250,000. 

Season 16 of 'The Biggest Loser: Glory Days' starts Thursday at 7 p.m. and it airs on Local 2. 

There is also a watch party for Zina Garrison at Russo's Pizza on Beechnut near 610 Loop at 6:45 p.m.
