HOUSTON – Two men who were trying to flee police were arrested early Wednesday after they accidentally ran their truck into a bayou.
Houston police officers received a call about suspected burglars at an industrial business in the 9200 block of Tavenor Road around 3 a.m.
When police arrived, they saw a white pickup truck fleeing the scene.
Police chased the suspects to Highway 3 near Edgebrook, but due to the heavy morning fog, the suspects did not see the end of the road and ran into a large bayou.
The suspects were then taken into custody.
